I am wondering is there a specific chemical that some magicians throw on the floor to dissapear? Is it like the caps i used to throw on the floor as a kid? Or is it more sophisticated than that? |
| Answer: |
It's not the flash or smoke that makes the person disappear. The pyro is simply used to aid and accent the illusion being presented. There are no chemicals that can be "thrown" down to create such an effect. When you see this type of performance, it is because a flash pot or similar device is present in the performing area. The performer may gesture down as if throwing something, but it's the device that is creating the flash or smoke. |

I'm looking to add a card to wallet routine and have looked at the Hip Pocket Mullica or the Plus Wallet Small. What are the advantages of each? |
| Answer: |
Both are excellent wallets, but I personally would lean towards the Plus Wallet. The Hip Pocket Mullica is a bit easier to work and when it comes to "no palm" methods but the options the Plus Wallet affords outweighs that in my opinion. The Plus Wallet has a “no palm” feature but it can also be used as a traditional card to wallet as well. In the end, I feel the “palm” methods are far more deceptive than the “no palm” approach. The Plus Wallet would allow you to try both approaches out to see what works for you without the need to purchase two wallets. |

From another dealer, I recently purchased a rising card illusion. I was very unhappy with the gimmick and it broke immediately. Can you recommend a WELL constructed rising card deck relying on the sliding weight principal? |
| Answer: |
There are several great card rises on the market, but it sounds like the version you have in mind is the classic. You can find it here. |
